HOSHINO 18 is one of the first matcha blends we created for OHH’s debut collection of teas, first showcased at the OHH CHA BAR in MUJI London’s flagship store.
Development of this matcha took over two year’s research and development in Japan. We worked with some of the very best tea producers in Kyushu to create this matcha, using a blend of spring tea leaves from the Yame mountains.
HOSHINO 18 is a beautiful introduction to matcha, representing the best characteristics of its category. This is a complex and complete matcha, with well defined layers of sweetness, umami and gentle bitterness.

2g per 60ml freshly boiled water cooled to 65 – 75ºC, whisk until a smooth and frothy foam forms.†
